Polaroids

I am getting over my fear of the Polaroid. Not fear of the camera itself, but the price tag on the packs of film. It's a hobby and it's not free. I am making my peace with that.

By the way, that's a note my son left me this morning. It says, "I Jaden pot cofe des in. Neto pot water" (Translation: I Jaden put coffee beans in. Need to put water.)

Between Lisa Mitchell tweeting about her new video and the coffee being started, my Monday is off to a great start. :)

  1. Oh I love the coffee pot note from Jaden! How sweeeeeet is that??? I still have notes from my daughter when she was very little. My son didn't write me notes like my daughter did.

  2. How adorable is that? When our office used polaroids we would get a deal by buying in bulk at Costco (but you probably know this). My cheap point and shoot died. I Need to buy a cheap point and shoot for photowalking!

  3. Kim, how sweet that you saved notes from your daughter. :)

Clare, I haven't seen any Polaroid film at Costco -- I've tried. eBay & Amazon has it, though I wish the little local store would get more. Even if they buy from the big boxes and mark it up, I'd prefer to buy from them. Try Craigslist for a new p&s! :)

  4. Jess. they weren't on the shelves. If I remember correctly, my mother in law would go to the counter, say how many she wanted and an employee would go to the secret stash section and get them. Maybe they don't sell it any longer.
